Awakening from cryo-storage, abandoned in a deep space scrapyard should have been the crappiest morning of Cameron’s life.
The universe, it seems, has a sense of humor.
Welcome to a new kind of sci-fi romance.
Cameron never dreamed of being an astronaut. Yes, there was that one time his parents got this great deal on a space suit costume for Halloween when he was seven, but otherwise no. And being abducted by aliens and then left for dead in a deep space scrapyard certainly never made his bucket list. Awaking alone aboard a failing alien freighter wasn’t an ideal start to the day.
Alone?
Not quite. The fiery, foul-mouthed, alien mechanic, who dresses like she belongs in that biker bar everyone warns you to stay away from might hold the key to their survival. Yet as the pair fight for their lives against the hazards of space, their working rapport gives him a glimpse under her hood. But are their species even compatible?
Scrapped! kicks off a new series with all the hallmarks of my Arvia stories: quirky, underdog characters to root for, rollicking adventures, simmering chemistry, and a generous dose of humor. Cameron and Cora, oddest heroic couple in space, must work together for their very survival, scouring the high tech wasteland for air, water, food, power, and spare parts.
Yet even as they fight off creepy insectoid infestations, even as they struggle to patch together a working spaceship from junk parts, a conflict between corrupt authorities and ruthless space pirates threatens to draw them in.
My Alien Renegade Lover Book 1: Scrapped! launches October 2026, available in hardcover, paperback, and ebook. Read the first six chapters free on my website (new chapters will be added weekly). Or subscribers can download the entire first act as an ebook here.

Character Profile: Cora
I was finally gonna quit my crappy maintenance job and start my own shop, building the fastest custom star ships in the sector. Getting left behind in stasis when they mothballed my old ship wasn’t part of the plan. Getting revived by a tall, handsome alien man really wasn’t part of the plan. His species has no knowledge of all the rules and social hierarchy of the Prime Concord. He treats me like a person, like an equal. He looks at me like I’m cute. What the hell’s wrong with him? I’m many things, but not cute. The savage, primitive world he comes from isn’t used to the advanced tech of our galactic civilization, but he learns fast. Problem is, my heart wants to move even faster.
